Delete your InvoChef account and data

You can delete your account and all its data at any time. Deletion is permanent.

In the app (fastest)

Open InvoChef, tap the person icon (top right) and choose Settings.
Signed in: tap Back up & sync → Delete account, and tap again to confirm. This deletes your account and everything synced to it, on every phone.
Not signed in: tap Your data & privacy → Delete all my data, and tap again to confirm. This deletes everything on the phone and your anonymous account and conversations on our server.

By email

If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my InvoChef account". We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your email address
Synced settings, cooking history, ratings, notes, your cookbook (imported, written and "my version" recipes), collections and dish photos
Your share links (they stop working), community submissions, recipes you published (they leave the catalog), your public profile, and your ratings and reports on community recipes
Conversations with Chef, and the count of today's free questions
Problem reports you sent, and their screenshots

What may remain

Crash reports, which contain no personal content, until they expire (14 days), and anonymous usage counts.
Anything already on another phone that was never signed in to this account, including copies of recipes you shared that other people saved to their own cookbook.
